Lauren Williams-Batiste is a new mom to a beautiful one year old baby girl named Ada Elle. She is named after her great-great grandmother who rose from the plantation fields and became a civic leader & entrepreneur in her North Memphis community. Hence the namesake and inspiration behind her business. Elle’s Elixirs is a wellness & lifestyle brand. They make self care attainable for women seeking creative solutions that add value & vitality to their everyday routines. Her company launched at last years’ MidSouth Hemp Festival to rave reviews from wellness and hemp enthusiasts throughout the region and across the country. She found her customers in search of a product that didn’t take up a lot of time in their day, allowed them to incorporate wellness into their regular activities and helped them live life with natural wellness alternatives. Additionally, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in History that focused on Africana Studies, resistance movements and Women’s Studies through an intersectional lens from Tennessee State University. As well as a Master’s of Science in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University. Lauren is a well respected advocate & policy analyst for educational equity & reproductive justice.
