We are coughing because of cannabis, not the coronavirus.

We wanted to let our guests and vendors know that in light of other recent festival cancellations, school closures, and the cancellations of many sporting events across the country from now to early April, we are still planning on going forward with the largest cannabis festival in the South.

The Mid-South Hemp Fest is a free to the public, all-ages, educational event to raise awareness about the benefits of the cannabis industry.

The second annual Mid-South Hemp Fest is scheduled to take place at Shelby Farms, Saturday & Sunday, April 18th and 19th, 2020. With multiple days this year, we are on track to be even bigger and better than last year.

We understand many are worried about the COVID-19 virus, but we are in communication with our local government and public health officials to ensure that all the preventative steps that can be taken are being taken to ensure the safety of our guests, vendors, and performers.

Should a government authority force us to cancel, we would investigate other possible days, but in our meetings this week with Shelby County, it was not a concern. We will continue to monitor the situation in the coming weeks.

We take pride in providing a fun and secure environment to showcase the versatility of the cannabis plant. We look forward to seeing you all next month!
